CAMPI lauds new BOC ECP System

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) expressed its full support to the New Electronic Certificate of Payment (ECP) System launched by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) on March 9, 2026.

The new ECP system is a landmark initiative that directly addresses the concerns of vehicle manufacturers, assemblers and importers on ECP processing. It is an important step in the continuing modernization of the Philippine customs administration, one that strengthens transparency, improves efficiency and reinforces the trust among government, industry stakeholders and the consumers/ end-users.

The new ECP system supports the “Industry Development Pillar” of CAMPI’s 4-Action Framework that advocates for manufacturing resilience and the improvement of the automotive business environment. CAMPI commits to continue working with the BOC to ensure the successful implementation of the new ECP System.
