In his remarks during the ceremony, outgoing president Gutierrez shared two CAMPI accomplishments that he is most proud of.

“First, that we have grown not just in numbers and market share, but also in terms of impact and influence. Our expanding membership and increased role in policymaking and developmental initiatives demonstrate true and reliable industry leadership,” said Gutierrez

“Second, that I am leaving you with a new vision for the future. In my final year as president, and coincidentally, the 30th anniversary of CAMPI, we intentionally launched CAMPI’s new vision reflecting on our role as the leading automotive industry association in the country,” he added.

For his part, incoming president Atienza state that the new leadership is committed to building on CAMPI’s legacy rooted in purpose and creating positive impact for the Philippine Automotive Industry.

“As we move forward, CAMPI is guided by its new vision of fostering mobility transition in the Philippines. Supported by four (4) co-equal strategic pillars: (1) Technology and Innovation, (2) Vehicle and Road Safety, (3) Industry Development and (4) Sustainability – – our framework for future action focuses on establishing automotive as a key sector with significant economic and societal contribution,” said Atienza.

“CAMPI is now 29 members strong- – all representing global OEMs that account for ninety-five percent (95%) of the automotive market, we are confident that CAMPI can continue to best represent the interests of the Automotive Industry. To our stakeholders, we offer our collective knowledge and expertise to support policy formulation, the development of regulatory and enforcement framework, as well as other mobility transition initiatives,” Atienza added.

“On behalf of our Secretary Giovanni “Banoy” Lopez, thank you for being a strong and reliable partner of the Department of Transportation. Malaki po ang papel ng CAMPI sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng ating land transportation sector, lalo na pagdating sa road safety at sa kaligtasan ng bawat motoristang Pilipino (CAMPI plays a big role in the continuous development of our land transportation sector, especially when it comes to road safety and the safety of every Filipino motorist),” said Pastor during his speech.

Pastor also urged members of the organization to continue creating “an automotive industry that is innovative, sustainable, and of true service to the Filipino people.”
