October Betters Previous Monthly Sales

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) reported that October volume achieved a substantial increase of 32.6 percent or 5,478 unit sales versus same month last 2013. This growth is mainly attributed to new model introductions, aggressive promotional activities and increasing consumer demand.

Both Passenger Car (PC) and Commercial Vehicle (CV) categories’ sales further accelerated compared with October 2013 results. The passenger car segment’s sales reached 8,975 units and a significant growth of 46.5 percent year-on-year. Rommel Gutierrez.
